Glossary of common terms (Or, what the heck does NOS mean?)

Knowing the terminology helps when getting into arcade collecting, as in any other hobby. These terms and meanings are accurate to the best of my knowledge. If you see a term you disagree with, or know of one that should be added, please email me!

NOS - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

Upright - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

Cocktail - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

Marquee - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

PCB - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

JAMMA - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

Cap Kit - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.

Control Panel - New Old Stock. Original unused materials for an arcade game that, while old, are new in the sense that they were never used.
